The above Scripture verse is probably one of the most concise bits of advice reminding us how we should engage in the fighting lust. Commit it to memory. Chew on this verse daily.
When we talk about lust, we don't talk about it in the most positive ways because it is not the way God asks us to look at relationships. Lust is obsessive and selfish. As Christians, we are taught to guard our hearts against it, because it has nothing to do with the love that God wants for each of us. Yet, we're all human. We live in a society that promotes lust at every turn.
